Since he was a little boy, John was actively involved in every aspect of the farm he grew up on. He raised pigs, cattle, corn and hay and worked the fences. When he left the farm for college, he couldn’t get enough of farming, so obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in it and proceeded to teach about agriculture. Fencing 101: Features an explanation and demonstration of how to assemble and fill a rock corner post (can also use cement blocks, silo staves, bricks, or sandbags), how to stretch barbed and electric wire to make a tight fence, how to attach the wire to rock corner posts and T-posts and how to manually pound steel T-posts. Also includes discussion of supplies needed for fence building, fence laws and interior and perimeter fences. Includes bonus footage of electric and solar fencers. Does NOT include any information about woven wire fencing or wooden corner posts.
